Join us on Saturday 15th September for an afternoon of Beers and Bottles! Meet Jake Griffin, the man behind Up Front Brewing, and sample his Ishmael and Ahab beers. And while you're sampling, listen to some fantastic music on our tube ('bottle') amplifiers from KR Audio, makers of some of the world's finest vacuum tubes and high-end amplifiers.
Jake founded Up Front Brewing in Glasgow in 2015. He brews his beers by renting space in larger breweries ('gypsy brewing') and his aim it to grow the company organically and build his own brewery when the time is right. Jake tries to do everything in-house, from brewing to packaging, in order to craft perfect small batch beers for the discerning drinker. He aims to make exceptional beer which can be enjoyed by both the newly converted and seasoned beer aficionado alike.
AHAB Stout, a complex, deep and rich fusion of dark malts with the fruity hop finish of an American Stout.
ISHMAEL IPA showcases the subtly sweet malt characteristics, the heady hop notes and robust bitterness of an American IPA.
