Some of the products in our online shop are available to buy online and others must be bought in-store or by phone

The information below is intended as rough guide to buying online and by telephone with Audio-philia, only. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more details.

Product Choice & Prices

We hope you find the information on our website and in our online shop to be helpful when choosing what to buy. However, if you’re unsure about any aspect of the item(s) you’re interested in, including weight and dimensions, please get in touch to ask for advice and/or clarification. We’d hate for you to be disappointed with your purchase and advise you not to buy until you’re confident about your choice.

We’ll always do our very best to ensure that all content on our website is up-to-date and accurate. However, we cannot accept liability for any errors, omissions or changes in pricing that have not yet been updated on our website.

All published prices include VAT. While we don’t offer a price match promise, do contact us if you see a better offer and we’ll do what we can to help. Delivery is free unless otherwise stated (and only available within the UK at this time).

Ordering Online

Some of the products in our online shop are available to buy online, while others must be bought in-store or by phone

Create an Audio-philia Website Account

You can create an Audio-philia website account by going to ‘SIGN IN’, just below our logo at the top of all pages.

An account is not essential to buying online, but creating one ensures that future purchases are quicker and simpler because your Name, Address and Email Address will be saved automatically during the transaction process. Your payment details will also be stored securely*, if you choose to save them (but will never be accessible by us).

Having and Audio-philia website account also means that you can log in at any time to review past and current Orders, change/add Payment Details, change/add your Shipping Address and Phone Number, and change your Password. 
 

Add to basket / Review basket

Click on the ‘Add to Basket’ button to add a product to your shopping basket, and add more than one of a product by clicking on ‘Add to Basket’ multiple times or going to your shopping basket and adjusting the number in the ‘QTY’ column.

View your shopping basket by clicking on the shopping basket icon in the top right menu.

NOTE: The shopping basket icon will only be visible if you have already added one or more products to it.

Checkout

Once you’re happy with the contents of your basket, click on ‘Checkout’ to proceed to the fully secure checkout page! There, the ‘Order Summary’ shows details of your order including the VAT amount (included in all displayed prices).

You can check out as a guest or create/log into your account first so that your details and order history are saved.

Payment

You can pay with Visa and MasterCard (credit and debit cards), American express, PayPal and Apple Pay* through our online shop.

Rest assured, when you make a purchase online you will be transferred to one of our secure payment gateways; Stripe, PayPal or Apple Pay. Audio-philia will never have access to your Credit or Debit Card details at any point of your online purchase.

When adding your payment details, note that the card number, expiry date and CVC number are all entered into the same field - as shown in this screenshot.

Once you’ve placed your order, the Order Number and your contact Email Address will be shown on-screen. Please make sure that your email address is correct, because we’ll be sending you an order confirmation email as well as order update emails. 

*Apple Pay is available only when purchasing online using Safari through iOS 10, macOS Sierra, or more recent operating systems.

Payment

We accept payments via Visa and MasterCard (credit and debit cards) when taking orders over the phone, and these are processed securely through our Barclaycard card machine.

Online Purchases

When you buy online you will be transferred to one of our secure payment gateways; Stripe, Paypal or Apple Pay. We at Audio-philia will never have access to your Credit or Debit Card details at any point of your online purchase.

 

By Phone Purchases

When you buy over the phone, we’ll take your payment via our secure Barclaycard card machine. We’ll never save Credit or Debit Card details you give to us verbally.

Delivery Address

All addresses and telephone numbers are checked off-line before any goods are despatched.

Unfortunately, due increasingly high instances of Credit Card fraud, deliveries can only be made to the registered address of your payment method, and it must have an active landline telephone. If this is not possible, please call us and we may be able to make other arrangements, such as delivering to your workplace.

A signature will be required upon delivery.



Peter Tyson: To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting our terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. 


Cancelling Your Order

Please call us on 0131 221 9753 or email us at info@audio-philia.co.uk if you’d like to cancel your order.

When we cancel an order we’ll send you an email with the Subject Line "Audio-philia: Order #XXXXX Refunded" with details of the order and the amount that you’ll be refunded.

If you’ve created an account on our website, you can also confirm that your order has been cancelled by checking online. Sign in to your account and check that the 'Status' field for the order shows 'Cancelled' and a 'Refunded' field, showing the amount to be refunded, is visible.

Note that some it might not be possible to cancel your order if the product has been made to order or you’ve requested customisations to it.

Tracking & Delivery

Tracking Your Order

We will keep you up-to-date on the status of your order by email:

  • a Confirmation of your Order email will be sent to you as soon as you place your order, which will include full details of your purchase

  • a Notification of Shipment email will be sent to you as soon as your order has shipped, which will include courier tracking details

If you created the order when logged in to an account on our website, you can also check the Status field of that order,

If we notice any anomalies with your order we’ll contact you as soon as possible.

 

Delivery Address

Delivery Times

We aim to dispatch all standard items within 3 working days, subject to stock availability and excluding weekends. Please contact us for delivery estimates for custom products and those that are built to order.
 

Delivery Methods & Charges

Deliveries to the UK mainland are free of charge.

Orders under £50 will be delivered by Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery, or you can contact us to upgrade this service to next day delivery for £5. 

All other orders will be dispatched via XXXX on a next working day delivery service. You can upgrade to a time or weekend delivery - see below for details.

Saturday & Sunday Service: Please Note DPD only collect from us on weekdays (Mon - Fri) - We are unable to dispatch orders on Saturday or Sunday. The order cut-off time for weekend deliveries is Friday 1pm.

If you have urgent or specific delivery needs, please contact us before ordering.

 

Damaged/Missing Goods

If you find that your goods have been damaged in any way during delivery, or believe a part of your order to be missing from the delivery, please call us on 0131 2219753 or email us at info@audio-philia.co.uk, as soon as possible.

Returns

Returning because of issue or change of mind?

Right to Cancel (online orders)

Custom or Made to Order are different…

Damaged Goods & Incomplete Deliveries

Can return with X days

Must be returned as new, unused and in re-saleable condition. In all cases, the cost of returning the goods will be the customer’s responsibility.

Faulty goods with be repaired under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Change of mind:

  • Up to 14 Days - Exchange, Credit or Refund* 

  • 14-28 Days - Exchange or Credit

  • 28 - 90 Days - Exchange or Credit + 25% restocking fee

Please note we do not accept returns after 90 days, except for repairs under warranty. These conditions only apply to UK orders.

14 Day Returns – Your Statutory Rights

If you wish to return goods, you should notify Richer Sounds of your intention to do so within 14 days of the date of receipt by you. You then have an additional 14 days to return the goods from this notification date (goods should be returned within 28 days). We will in such circumstances refund you the cost of your order, including postage, and also the cost of return postage assessed at the most efficient method of sending. However, if goods are not returned "as new" due to excessive handling on your part, or with components missing (including packing materials and manuals) we may make a reasonable deduction for this.
