Tiglon Japan

Tiglon begun developing and honing its patented Magnesium shielding technology back in 2006, which allows their products to effectively dampening external vibrations and blocking EMI/RFI radiation; the result is a relaxed, silky and yet dynamic presentation.

By reducing the noise floor and mains pollution in today’s ever challenging audio environment, the result is an outstandingly natural, pristine, and spontaneous sound that allows the delicate musical messages and textures unravelling in total ease, allowing every HiFi system to shine like never before.

Tiglon’s founder, Kentaro Okino, became fascinated with the sonic properties of magnesium during his mechanical engineering studies and, after using it to suppress vibrations in loudspeaker stands and component isolation platforms, obtained an international patent in 2009 for its use as an electromagnetic wave shield in hi-fi cables.

Tiglon’s magnesium shield takes the form of a foil tape that’s wound spirally around the insulated conductors in the direction from input to output.

The foil is electrically insulated from the input and is connected to the cold terminal of the output, “eliminating the influences of external noise invading the cable”.

Okino is convinced that magnesium is a far more effective electromagnetic barrier and vibration suppressor than commonly-used alternatives, explaining that it’s “…an ideal shielding layer that dampens external vibration and blocks EMI/RFI radiation, producing an uncommonly low noise floor and a relaxed presentation heard in very few (other) cables…”

Magnesium Tech

By adopting magnesium as the material of choice for the shielding layer, Tiglon succeeded in eliminating the influence of external noise that enters through cables, thus providing and ideal signal transmission that is free from artifacts picked up by its surroundings, whilst allowing them to maintain a slim diameter.

These techniques allowed Tiglon to eliminate the influence of external noise to a very high standard, not possible with other designs as they will always have to compromise with heavy alternative shielding that inevitably will deteriorate the sound.

Magnesium is a superior metal that it both absorbs vibrations and offers tenacious electromagnetic wave shielding properties, ideal for both HiFi enthusiast setups and professional environments; over time, Tiglon developed a magnesium foil that has been refined to perfection, offering the best audio characteristics with cutting-edge technology during its special forming process.

HSE Technology

“Hyper Saturated Energizer” (HSE) was a joint venture developed by Tiglon and a group of audio cable engineers in Europe, America, and Asia; this was introduced for the first time in Japan, and now available worldwide. The newly developed HSE program is a technology that reduces the aging time traditionally said by allowing the conductor to pass a frequency that exceeds the audible band (0 to 100 KHz) of programmed current.

In short the HSE treatment offers a clear and highly natural sound, improves clarity, depth and allowing resolution to come true while activating the conductor.
